here are our favorite restaurants we ate at: 
- Sobrino de Botín in Madrid - the oldest restaurant in the world known for its suckling pig dish cooked in its original wood-fired oven operating since 1725 🍖🔥
- Gustos Madrid for some yummy paella 🥘 
- Cervecería el Trebol in Toledo for some authentic local dishes 
- Bar Canyí in Barcelona, one of our favorite spots for some great seafood and other flavorful dishes 🦐🐙
- Restaurante Balthazar in Barcelona for some classic Catalan staples 🍮
