A total of 40 boats took part in the International 14 World Championship, held August 17-28 in Kingston. Teams from Great Britain swept the podium, while the Canadian team of Lauren Laventure and Jason Lemieux took the 4th position, four points away from the podium. Canadian Olympians Mariah Millen and Justin Barnes took the 6th position. A total of 13 Canadian teams took part in the event, hosted by CORK/Sail Kingston which also welcomed sailors from Germany, Ireland and USA.

Un total de 40 bateaux ont participé au Championnat du monde en International 14, présenté du 17 au 28 août à Kingston. Les équipes de la Grande-Bretagne ont balayé le podium, alors que la formation canadienne composée de Lauren Laventure et Jason Lemieux ont pris le 4e rang, à quatre points du podium. Les Olympiens canadiens Mariah Millen et Justin Barnes ont terminé au 6e rang. Un total de 13 équipes canadiennes ont participé à l'événement, présenté par CORK/Sail Kingston et qui a aussi accueilli des athlètes de l'Allemagne, d'Irlande et des États-Unis.
