Florida State football got the 34-17 victory over New Mexico State on Saturday, but you would have thought they lost with how much of the college football community is discussing the result.

The Seminoles will now be taking on quarterback Kevin Jennings and SMU this Monday night in the standalone contest in Doak Campbell Stadium.

What is your biggest overreaction that you think was most overblown from the Week 0 win?

I believe that it had to be the defensive backfield. I think that they get the miscommunication handled in the secondary. The Seminoles have a serviceable secondary that should not be viewed as a weakness. I expect them to get back on track this week against Jennings, who has a tendency to be careless with the football with throw 13 interceptions in 2025. #gonoles #fsufootball #floridastate #fsuvssmu #mikenorvell
