🚘 Rockstar just gave car enthusiasts nearly 27 minutes of GTA VI footage to dissect, and Leonida looks packed with some of the deepest car culture the series has ever shown.

The Extended Look was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5 and includes everything from everyday traffic and luxury SUVs to tuned street cars and full-on racing sequences.

Look closely and you can spot designs that strongly echo real-world cars from BMW, Mercedes-AMG, Chevrolet, Nissan, Range Rover and plenty more.

One of the biggest enthusiast moments is a modified Japanese street-racing sequence featuring huge wings, aggressive aero, liveries, underglow and cars that immediately bring early-2000s tuner culture to mind.

An E30-generation BMW 3 Series-style convertible also appears, while other scenes feature shapes compared with the Corvette C8, Mercedes-AMG performance cars and modern luxury SUVs.

Rockstar still uses fictional manufacturers rather than real automotive badges, so these are real-world inspirations identified by car spotters rather than officially licensed models.

That ambiguity is part of the fun, because even enthusiasts are already debating whether certain cars are based on an R32 or R34 Skyline and which exact BMW or Mercedes variants inspired others.

More important than any single model, the footage shows car meets, modified builds, street racing and circuit competition, suggesting automotive culture could play a much larger role in GTA VI than simply stealing whatever is parked nearby.

GTA VI is currently scheduled to launch November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Rockstar still hasn’t fully explained how deep vehicle customization or organized racing will go.
