Nicknamed β€œDebora,” the Ninja has crossed Europe, Asia, Africa and South America despite being a supersport designed for pavement and track days, not round-the-world travel. Moles says the bike is still practically stock, with no long-travel suspension or elaborate adventure conversion, relying mainly on knobby Continental tires, gel seats and luggage to make the massive trips possible. One journey took him from Spain all the way to Singapore through Iran, Pakistan, India and Nepal, while another sent him through more than 20 African countries. He has ridden the Kawasaki through deserts, mountains, snow, extreme cold and terrain where most riders would choose a dedicated adventure bike. The craziest chapter came in January 2025 when the boat carrying Debora toward Panama sank in the Caribbean, leaving the Ninja on the seafloor for two days. Moles helped organize divers and local salvagers to recover the bike, refusing to abandon the machine that had already carried him across four continents. Debora is now being restored screw by screw after the saltwater damage, and Moles plans to send the same Kawasaki back to Africa for another major trip once the rebuild is complete.
