## Caption

Most of our bike athletes have made it across the Norton Sound. The lead pack now consists of Peter Delamere, Casey Fagerquist, Joshua Brown, Mike Beiergrohslein, and the Italians Willy Mulonia, Tiziano Mulonia, and Roberto Gazzoli. 

While these bike athletes are in position to reach Nome within 48 hours and before the first dog teams from @theiditarod, the foot and ski athletes are still traveling along the Yukon and won’t reach Nome for another 1-2 weeks. 

Let’s hope the Norton Sound provides safe passage to all!
