Burnout. And hunger to build something real with Brit that matters.

Overstimulated — by touch, by noise, by the constant being needed. And desperate to be painstakingly present with each of my five kids because I know how fast it goes and I don’t want to miss it.

Heartache so heavy it’s sitting in my chest like something physical. And gratitude so full it makes me stop mid-chaos and just look around.

The family I used to lie awake dreaming about is my every day now. The noise. The mess. The five people who need me simultaneously. This is the life I asked for. Fought for. Built on purpose.

And it is also a lot to carry.

Both things are true. All of it at once. That’s the thing nobody tells you about getting everything you wanted — you still get to be human inside it. You still get tired. You still grieve. You still have days where the gratitude and the exhaustion sit right next to each other and you can’t tell which one is winning.

Today is one of those days.

Just wanted to say it out loud. In case you’re holding something complicated today too. 🤍
