Respectfully… Larry Bird was NOT moving like Kevin Durant 😭🔥

KD is legitimately one of the most unique players the game has ever seen. We’re talking about a near 7-footer who can bring the ball up the floor, handle like a guard, pull up from anywhere, attack off the dribble, finish at the rim, post you up, and shoot over basically anybody. There really hasn’t been another scorer built quite like him. 🎯

Larry Bird is obviously an all-time great and one of the greatest players to ever touch a basketball. His shooting, passing, IQ, rebounding and overall impact were ridiculous. But when the conversation is strictly about offensive skill, versatility and the amount of different ways a player can create his own shot, KD has an argument against anybody in NBA history. 👀

The crazy part is Durant makes all of it look effortless. One or two dribbles into a pull-up, crossover into a jumper, hesitation into a drive… defenders can play perfect defense and sometimes it still doesn’t matter because he can simply rise over them.

Bird has the championships, MVPs and legendary résumé, but KD’s combination of height, handle, shooting and scoring ability is something basketball had rarely seen before him. 🔥
