𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄.

I lost years of my life that I’ll never get back.

I went to prison thinking that would be enough to change me. When I came home, I was determined to build a different life. I became certified in personal training, Pilates, Marma point therapy, and yoga. I was working, learning, and moving forward.

But eventually, I relapsed.

Years later, addiction took me somewhere darker than any prison cell ever did. I woke up in a hospital bed after a suicide attempt knowing I couldn’t keep living the way I was living.

This time, I stopped trying to do it alone.

I went to AA. Got a sponsor. Worked the 12 steps. Took my recovery seriously and started rebuilding my life one day at a time.

Fitness gave me structure, but the gym didn’t save me. I had to change the way I lived.

Eventually, the parts of my story I was most ashamed of became the parts I could use to help someone else. I started sharing my story with young people in correctional and rehabilitation facilities, hoping my mistakes could help someone make a different decision.

Today, I’m a father, a husband, a coach, and a man with people who depend on me.

I don’t share my story because I’m proud of every chapter.

I share it because maybe somebody reading this needs to know:

𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒𝐍’𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐅𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄.

You can lose years.
You can make mistakes.
You can hit rock bottom.

And you can still decide what happens next.

𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄. 🙏💯
