Das Laufspektakel des Jahres ist beendet! Nach 3 Tagen und 22 Stunden hat der „Last Soul Ultra 2026“ seinen Champion gefunden: Mark Dowdle! Der Ami läuft bei dem Backyard-Format (im Stundentakt muss eine 6,7 km lange Runde absolviert werden) 94 Runden und damit 630,4 Kilometer. Dowdles letzter verbliebener Kontrahent, der Deutsche Ayyoub Ello El Osrouti, bleibt auf dieser Runde entkräftet auf einer Wiese liegen und schafft es nicht mehr rechtzeitig ins Ziel.
