RIP Tim Curry 🖤

The Clinton Street Theater in Portland, Oregon, has been showing The Rocky Horror Picture Show every Saturday since 1978. 

It’s a tradition that’s held strong and only grown in popularity with the Clinton Street Cabaret. 

Tonight, August 26, clinton_street_theater held a special memorial for Tim Curry. 

As one speaker said, “He may be gone, but Tim is here forever in the theater.” 

Another member of the cabaret said “He was a weirdo, just like us.” 

From giving fans complicated feelings about pollution in his role as Hexxus in Ferngully, to traumatizing a generation as Pennywise, sailing the seas with the Muppets, and embodying so much as Frank-N-Furter, Curry’s work seems to have had a profound impact on the patrons of clinton_street_theater - and those across the world.
