Moving now to South Asia, where search and rescue teams are looking for workers believed to still be trapped in hydropower plant tunnels buried in mud after catastrophic flash flooding along the Nepal-China border.

Authorities in Nepal now say more than 1,000 people have died, and more than 4,400 are still unaccounted for. At least 900 of them are believed to be hydropower workers.

New video shows the conditions rescuers face as they comb through mud and debris in the tunnels, searching for those who are missing.

Nepal’s army reports recovering four bodies from three mud-filled tunnels.
