## Caption

Two dogs rescued and one displaced from duplex fire. 

Fire crews were dispatched to the area of 19th Ave and Indian School Rd around 7:45 PM for reports of structure fire. 

Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke and flames from the rear of a residential duplex. Firefighters deployed hose lines to fight the blaze while simultaneously searching the home for occupants. 

Ladder crews accessed the roof and performed vertical ventilation. During the search, firefighters located and rescued two dogs from inside the home. Both dogs were given oxygen and reunited with their owner. 

The homeowner was evaluated for smoke inhalation, and refused transportation to the hospital. Personnel from the Community Assistance Program are assisting with one resident who has been displaced. 

No injuries to firefighters were reported. Fire Investigators are on the scene working to determine the cause of the fire. #PHXFire
