In the mountains of western North Carolina, a traveling salesman follows a quiet road near the Qualla Boundary. Beneath the blue haze of the Smokies, a strange encounter will carry him far beyond the peaks  of Appalachia.

The film blends historical drama, Southern Gothic atmosphere, psychological horror, and science fiction into an original story set against the Great Smoky Mountains.
