On the eve of a potentially historic moment with Colo-Colo, Vozinha received a gift that brought everything back to where his journey began: family.

Chilean artist @ale.moreno.art surprised Vozinha with this incredible hand-painted portrait of him embracing his grandmother, Maria “Bia” — his father’s mother, affectionately known by many simply as Bia. 🥹❤️

A beautiful reminder that behind every shirt, every save and every achievement are the people who were there long before the world was watching. ❤️🎨

And the timing couldn’t be more special.

Today, Vozinha could take the field for the first time as a Colo-Colo player. At 40 years old, after representing Cabo Verde on the biggest stage in world football, another chapter could be about to begin. 🧤🇨🇻🇨🇱
