want to nail guitar riffs like this? here’s your guitar tab cheat sheet 🎸

here are a five common symbols you’ll run into when learning a new song on tabs:
1️⃣ / or \ = slide: slide up or down from the first note to the second
2️⃣ H = hammer-on: fret the next note without picking again, just “hammer” your finger down
3️⃣ P = pull-off: the opposite of a hammer-on! pluck the note, then pull your finger off to play the next
4️⃣ curved arrow = bend: push the string up (or down) instead of just pressing straight down on the fret
5️⃣ ~ = vibrato: bend the string up and down before returning to the original pitch

master these, and you’ll go from just hitting the right notes to sounding like a performer 🤘
