It means giving Sailors back their most precious resource: time.

We’re working to eliminate bureaucracy so we can focus on training, maintenance, developing our people, and preparing to fight. 

“For the United States Navy, continuous improvement is a warfighting imperative,” said Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Daryl Caudle during a Navy League of Hampton Roads speech tonight on the State of the Navy. 

“Remove friction and we create capacity. Create capacity and we generate readiness. Generate readiness and we strengthen deterrence. And if deterrence fails, readiness gives our Sailors what they need to fight and win.”
