Track & Field: Todd Crawford is joining the Brevard College Track & Field coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant Track & Field Coach, announced Director of Track & Field Matthew Jelley. Crawford has built an impressive resume at the club, high school and international levels, developing athletes across the jumps, throws, hurdles and relay disciplines while fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion and long-term athlete development.
 
"To say the I am extremely excited about this opportunity to coach at the NCAA collegiate level is an understatement," commented Crawford. "After a 25 year-plus high school career as a coach and educator, Coach Jelley was gracious enough to consider me for this opportunity. "The entire Brevard community, from the Athletics Department and college administration to the grounds crew who do such an outstanding job maintaining our beautiful campus, has gone above and beyond to make this opportunity a reality. I am excited to see what we can accomplish together moving forward."
 
Most recently, Crawford has served as Head Coach of the Quinte Frontenac / Quinte Legion Track Club since 2021, where he designed and implemented specialized training programs that produced multiple Ontario and National Age Group medalists. He also spent 17 years leading the track & field programs at Moira Trojans and Eastside Ravens, helping numerous student-athletes qualify for regional and provincial championships while creating opportunities for athletes of all ability levels to succeed.
 
"Coach Crawford's experience and excitement really stood out to me in the interview process," stated Coach Jelley. "His years of training and motivating athletes will be a huge asset to our current and future program. We are really excited to welcome him to Brevard."
