We started the week off by celebrating @abigailmcq21 who turned 20 during her @lipscombuniversity trip to Israel. It was great to welcome her back and hear about the group’s adventures on their Holy Land tour. @lipscombbaseball hosted a selection show watch party alongside family and fans after winning the @asunsports Championship and clinching a spot in the 2023 NCAA College World Series! They made a valiant start to regional play today but came up short against Clemson in a hard fought game. Make sure to tune in tomorrow at 11 am as they look to bounce back in game two! Back on campus I had the pleasure of speaking at a special @golipscomb Admissions event for a group of incoming first generation students. The annual kickstart event helps equip the students with everything needed for a successful first semester of school as they begin a new legacy for their families. It was great to have @alavgs back on campus for their annual summer event. We honored Vice Provost Quincy Byrdsong at a luncheon alongside his colleagues and celebrated his years of service to Lipscomb Health. We wrapped up the week with a leadership retreat at @spark.lipscomb as the executive leadership team reflected on the first year of the Impact 360 strategic plan and began planning for another great year of carrying out our mission while serving our students well.
