September is National Kinship Care Month! 💙 At Voices for Children, we value family. 

When a child enters the foster care system, the risk of losing their siblings, school, and support system is very real. That’s where a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer makes a life-changing difference.

CASA volunteers play a crucial role by helping to uncover and foster vital family connections with siblings, family relatives, or close family friends. Whenever safely possible, they advocate passionately for children to be placed with relatives or "fictive kin," knowing that keeping children rooted in familiar connections provides unmatched comfort and stability during an incredibly uncertain time.
