There are several words I can think of to describe myself this morning - plonker, eejit and wazzock - being some of them 

It is Monday and I rolled up at Caffe Nero in Witney, England for my first coffee of the day and blob time at its usual opening time of 7am.......and found a sign on the door telling me that because it is a public holiday here in the UK the cafe will open at 8am today.

🤬🤬😭😢😤

Working a 4 day on and 4 day off shift pattern in my salaried job means that I no longer have any concept of weeks, weekends and Fridays heralding the escape from the drudgery of work.

The tide of my life is governed by the 4 days at work and the 4 days off. And as a shift worker if I am scheduled to work on a public holiday it is a normal day with no extra pay.

I was not a happy Bentley Girl 👺 so took myself to a local petrol station and got a takeaway coffee and put my dirty Skoda Not Bentley Not Supercar thru the car wash.

As it was still only 7.20am I then drove back into town and did some business strategy research with ChatGPT on my cellphone.

Caffe Nero is now open, I am in my usual seat but because I need to do my morning walk and get home to work on Bentley Girls, and because I am now running one hour behind schedule, my blob time was short and my coffee is in a takeaway cup ready for my exercise walk round the town centre.

Today's traditionally British country outfit will be the subject of today's style post.

I need to lie down.............🤣😍🙃
