Today has been one of those messy days where I feel that I have done a lot but achieved very little.

Several personal posts on Insta and FB, and a St Clair Racing (SCR) brand color change on Insta, FB and LinkedIn.

I have also prepared my Sunday FB story - a comical tale of Jocelyn v wilful horses who did their best to hurl me over showjumps, buck me off and lie down with me in the saddle.

But it is a strange time as well.

The strategy and planning work for St Clair Racing is done - the team won't progress any further until I find an appoint a female Team Principal to turn my vision for the team into operational reality.

And I cannot pursue my teenage dream to train as a racing driver so I can compete for my own team until SCR has seed funding available

I don't have the money to employ a recruiter so I am relying on media publicity to spread the word.

I am champing at the bit too see SCR becoming the real deal and I am finding the waiting frustrating.

With the completion and stocking of the Bentley Girls online shop the building work is finished. Now it is time to market the magazine and shop and tell the world it exists.

It is a strange and unsettling time of transition from building the core structure of my businesses to running them.

And after months of going at 100mph, working long hours, 4-5 hours sleep each might, disciplined self-imposed deadlines to get things done and ideas for SCR and Bentley Girls magazine whizzing round my mind at warp speed this less demanding and more relaxed pace of operations feels strange.

So here I am in my favorite bistro - No.14 Wesley Walk, Witney, England - with a pot of caramel tea and feeling a bit odd! 🤣😂
