The Warning’s “Kerosene” just reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. With this, the Mexican rock band, comprised of sisters Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal Vélez, makes history as the first Mexican band and first all-women band to top the chart. 

@thewarningrockband was founded in Monterrey in 2013 and first made waves with their YouTube cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” Since then, they’ve released five studio albums, performed around the world, and opened for bands like Muse, Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, and The Killers. Just last week on August 28, they dropped their latest album “Everything’s Falling.”
