WEEK 2 MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL RECAP

Week 2 at Shorty Garcia Park in Union City gave us everything.

One point games. Big stat lines. Bounce backs. And BreadZone still walking around undefeated like they found the league cheat code.

BreadZone stayed perfect and moved to 6 and 0 after wins over Los Diablos, Curry Bombers, and Street Sharks. Their 38 to 37 win over Curry Bombers was the game of the night and maybe the game of the season so far.

Curry Bombers went 2 and 1 and still look dangerous. They put up 26 on Panthers, dropped 37 on BreadZone, and closed with a 27 to 14 win over Punt Intended. One point away from a perfect night. Painful, but still scary.

Punt Intended had the bounce back of the week, winning two close ones: 19 to 18 over Street Sharks and 20 to 19 over Panthers. After a tough Week 1, they came back like the group chat got too loud.

Street Sharks went 1 and 2, but stayed competitive all night. They beat Los Diablos 20 to 6 and pushed BreadZone in a 15 to 12 battle. Their record does not tell the full story.

Panthers ended the night strong with a 34 to 20 win over Los Diablos, while Los Diablos are still looking to turn their scoring ability into full game finishes.
