And now, as they prepare to welcome the Class of 2030 during Wednesday’s Freshman House Day, here are your leaders of the 2026-27 CHS House Council, from hometowns across Western New York and beyond …

These students were elected as prefects to lead each of the CHS House System’s six houses – Arrupe, Campion, Gonzaga, Jogues, Loyola and Xavier.

Representatives from each of the upper classes were on campus Monday to meet with our Heads of House and plan Wednesday’s event, which includes the House Induction Ceremony, where our Class of 2030 will find out which part of the CHS House System they will belong to.

All CHS students are members of one of six houses named after prominent Jesuits, and the competition, brotherhood and camaraderie of the pioneering CHS House System carry through their four years.

The CHS House System builds an additional infrastructure of smaller communities within our larger school community. It helps build stronger bonds and connections between students throughout all four grades – as well as with the faculty – as the houses compete for the Andrea Tyrpak-Endres House Cup.
