Sanjay Shah Lumpkin has been named head coach of the College Park Skyhawks in the G League. 👏

Sanjay graduated from Northwestern, where he played collegiately and scored 602 points over his career. He was selected 21st overall by the Erie BayHawks in the 2018 NBA G League Draft. At the time, the BayHawks were the Atlanta Hawks’ affiliate before relocating.

Sanjay began his coaching career in 2020 as a video coordinator for the Utah Jazz before transitioning into a player development coach role. From 2023-26, he worked with the Atlanta Hawks as an assistant coach.

This past Summer League, Sanjay served as the Hawks’ head coach, leading Atlanta to a 3-2 record.
