The midterms are shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable cycles in years, and Tuesday night proved it. Creator Collective timely news creator, Uduak (@Uduak.nkanga), has the latest. 

Progressives pulled off major upsets, with Abdul El-Sayed beating Haley Stevens in Michigan and Donovan McKinney unseating incumbent Shri Thanedar in Detroit. But the wave has real limits too. Cori Bush lost her rematch in Missouri, and Francesca Hong fell to David Crowley in a Wisconsin upset. Meanwhile, Byron Donalds and John James are both positioned to potentially become the first Black Republican governors since Reconstruction.

New polling shows Democrats favored nationally by 8 points, with a third of the party now identifying as democratic socialists.
