RE RHEE SETS THE TONE FOR SEOUL FASHION WEEK SS27

Seoul has never been a city to stand still. Its pace, contrasts and instinct for reinvention inevitably find their way into fashion. The opening of Seoul Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 captured that energy with particular clarity.
Taking centre stage on Day One was Re Rhee. Presenting womenswear and menswear together, the house delivered a collection that felt assured rather than overstated - a sharper definition of the codes that have become its own.

Silk and cotton formed the foundation, balancing fluidity with structure. The materials were allowed to speak through cut and proportion, rather than excessive embellishment.

Accessories brought the weight. Chunky hardware and sculptural forms sharpened the softer silhouettes, while a new bag line emerged as a notable addition. Substantial yet restrained, the bags carried the presence of pieces designed to become signatures.

Menswear took an oversized approach to tailoring. Dropped shoulders, generous trousers and softened proportions created a relaxed silhouette with clear control. Nothing felt careless.

Colour provided the collection’s most striking contrast. Oat, sage and pale sky tones softened the stronger accessories and larger shapes, creating a tension between delicacy and weight. Quiet, but far from forgettable.

Re Rhee’s strength lies in restraint. SS27 does not rely on spectacle; its authority comes through fabric, proportion and detail.

For the opening of Seoul Fashion Week, the message was clear. Re Rhee is not changing direction. It is defining its own more firmly.
