Bei dem bekannten Bootsrennen „Lake of the Ozarks Shootout“ in Missouri (USA) wird versucht, den Geschwindigkeitsrekord auf dem See zu brechen. Dort ereignete sich nun ein schwerer Unfall: Ein Hochgeschwindigkeitsboot wurde bei 320 km/h durch die Luft geschleudert und überschlug sich mehrfach. Beide Rennfahrer überlebten, einer erlitt jedoch eine schwere Beinverletzung.
