Congratulations to Mark Tyndall ’00, recipient of the Alumni Achievement Award!
Mark Tyndall has established an exceptional career at the intersection of law, public policy, and the life sciences. A 2000 graduate of Christopher Newport University with a degree in Economics, Mark currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary of Keenova Therapeutics, where he oversees the company’s legal, government affairs, and patient advocacy functions while serving as the primary liaison to its Board of Directors. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturers.
Prior to joining Keenova, Mark led global policy and public affairs for Bayer Healthcare’s Consumer Health division and practiced healthcare and political law at Sidley Austin LLP in Washington, D.C. Earlier in his career, he served on the professional staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, building a strong foundation in public policy and legislative affairs.
In addition to his Christopher Newport degree, Mark earned a Master of Public Policy from William & Mary and a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School. He also completed the International Human Rights Law Summer Program at the University of Oxford. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to advancing healthcare innovation, public policy, and patient advocacy through thoughtful leadership and strategic vision.
