Brush juniors Salena Betts and Isaiah McClain have been named the jetspizza Arc Athletes of the Week, following their performances on the field last week. 

Betts is off to a fast start in her first season with the Lady Arcs soccer team, including scoring six goals and assisting on another in two games this past week.  Against Lorain, she recorded a first-half hat trick before assisting on another goal late in the game.  In the matchup versus Akron North, Betts found the back of the net three times as well for her second consecutive hat trick. 

In just his second career start under center, McClain completed 23 passes to six different receivers for 210 yards and a touchdown in the Arcs 21-14 win over North Ridgeville.  With the score knotted at 14-14, the junior signal caller led a 13-play, 87-yard drive scoring drive to put Brush in front with less than three minutes remaining.
