48 hours at Aramness: 

“Begin your stay by settling into your private kothi, then enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the meadows. Then, spend some time at the haveli, unwind in the library with a book, explore the Craft Gallery to pick up local clothing, accessories, jewellery, art and crafts rooted in India – perfect souvenirs from the trip. Set out on a guided jungle walk through the surrounding teak forest, then return for mocktails and the Kathiyawadi-style village dinner.

On day two, rise early for a game drive into the national park, before a picnic breakfast in the wilderness. Back at the lodge, opt for a relaxing massage or a yoga session, or just lounge by the pool. Round off the day with the signature jungle barbeque experience.

If time permits, venture beyond the lodge to visit Junagadh or the Somnath Temple, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The white desert, India’s largest salt marsh spanning 7,500 sq km, also commands a visit. If you’re visiting in December and February, you should attend the Rann Utsav festival in the desert, a celebration of Gujarat music, dance and culture.”
