Washington Man Survives Brutal Alaska Bear Attack On 27th Birthday After Recording Goodbye Message To His Wife🐻😱 

A 27-year-old Walla Walla man is recovering after a brown bear attacked him while he was hiking through Alaska’s remote North Slope wilderness on his birthday. The bear mauled him, leaving him with severe facial injuries and a crushed foot as he lay injured and nearly blind on the tundra. 

The man, identified in reports as Jadon Nicoara, said he believed he was going to die and recorded a goodbye message for his wife and children before help arrived. He was eventually evacuated by helicopter and underwent surgery in Seattle.
