@jtheunisgolf shared this brilliant story about Francesco Molinari.

Before a round, Francesco would hit just one drive.

If he striped it, great.

But if he pushed it or hit a weak fade, he wouldn’t stand there desperately trying to fix it. He trusted that, during the walk to the first tee, his brain would “self-organize” and find the shot.

No panic.
No searching.
No dragging the range session onto the golf course.

Just complete trust that his body already knew what to do.

Sometimes the pursuit of perfect preparation creates the very problem we’re trying to avoid. 

Hit the shot. Accept it. Walk to the tee.

Then play golf.
