What happens when next-door neighbors take on each other’s backyard makeovers?

In this first ever special two-episode Weekender, host and designer Monica Mangin brings two couples together for a unique backyard makeover challenge: each couple will transform their neighbors’ backyard without seeing what’s happening next door. Over one weekend, they create completely different backyard designs tailored to the needs, styles, and lifestyles of their neighbors.

From new landscaping and fire pit hangout spaces to kid-friendly areas, outdoor furniture, and finishing touches from Lowe’s, both backyards get a complete transformation. The weekend ends with two big reveals, as each couple finally gets to see what their neighbors created for them.
