I poured my soul and part of my mental sanity into one of the most intense and devotional scenes from this amazing book.

This is one of those lines that completely changes your brain chemistry, and I really wanted to do it justice and make you feel everything as a viewer, the sadness, the despair, the devotion, the love, and the weight of it all in the middle of a war. That’s why I split the adaptation in two parts ♥️

I also took the opportunity to give them a few epic touches because it was too tempting to let it go lol

If this scene gives you all the feels, then you will make my day. It was one of the hardest projects I’ve worked on lately, but I’m also incredibly proud of how it turned out.
