Backgrounf and Brief Godawan 173: The Collector’s Edition was born from a critical need to bring a vital but largely unknown conservation success into public consciousness.
For five years, Godawan Artisanal Indian Whisky has been deeply invested in protecting its namesake, the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard, locally known as the Godawan. Through sustained on-the-ground efforts, the bird’s population rose from 96 to 173, a rare and hopeful milestone.
