A stellar honor 🏅

On Aug. 28, 2026, the Artemis II crew – NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen – received the Congressional Space Medal of Honor from President Trump.

The Congressional Space Medal of Honor recognizes an astronaut who in the performance of duties has distinguished himself or herself by exceptionally brave and meritorious efforts, and contributions to the welfare of the nation and humanity. There are now 34 recipients of the award since the beginning of the space program.
