A cyclist was stopped by police for biking all the way over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Police received several calls about the cyclist, who crossed westbound without a helmet at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. ⁠

The man wasn’t from the area, Maryland Transportation Authority Police said after officers escorted him off the roadway. No information was released on any citation against him. ⁠

Cyclists and pedestrians are not allowed on the bridge, which stretches more than four miles. ⁠
