At 12, thea.frodin helped bring a young serenawilliams to life on the court as her tennis body double in 'King Richard.' Though she never met Serena or Venus during or after filming, five years later she made her Grand Slam main-draw debut at this year's usopen. Her run ended in the first round, but stepping onto that stage remains a milestone worth celebrating.

There’s something powerful about watching the next generation compete on courts shaped by the women they grew up admiring. Thea once helped recreate Serena’s story for the screen... this week, she began writing one entirely her own.
