There’s something special about watching a Black woman answer doubt without saying much at all... sometimes 12.09 seconds says enough.

At the Diamond League in Zurich, masai_russell broke the 100m hurdles world record with a 12.09 finish, adding another historic milestone to a résumé that includes 2024 Olympic gold. Even when others tried to put a ceiling on her, Masai stayed locked into her own standard... and ran straight past it.

For every young Black girl watching, Masai is proof that doubt doesn’t have to become your story... stay focused, trust your vision and never let the outside noise decide how far you can go.

#Swipe to see Black excellence rewrite the record books and tell us... What can happen when you refuse to let anyone else define your limits? 🖤
