Paul Hastings reports CFTC Chairman Michael Selig said the agency will proceed with #Bitcoin and crypto rulemakings even if the CLARITY Act does not pass 👀

Here’s why it matters:
✅ CLARITY cloture vote is reportedly set for Sept. 15
✅ Cloture requires 60 votes
✅ It does not pass the bill by itself
✅ The CFTC is preparing rules anyway

In other words 👉 Congress is delayed, but regulators are not waiting. 👏
