If you love Phantom and #immersivetheater this is such a unique way to experience the story. Instead of watching it unfold from your seat, you’re stepping right into its world. I would honestly recommend EVERYONE to experience it at least once. 

If you already love @phantomopera , @masqueradenyc makes it even more magical. The atmosphere, the performers, the mystery and being so close to the action made the entire night feel UNFORGETTABLE!!! 

YES, I have to come back with my teen. (The show is 13+, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult) 

🎭 You’ll wear a masquerade mask throughout the experience. Bring your own black, white or silver mask, or they’ll provide one. (I am wearing the one they gave me) 

🖤 Dress the part! Think elevated/formal eveningwear in black, white and/or silver.

👠 Choose your shoes wisely. You’ll be walking, standing and going up and down stairs and escalators. Stilettos aren’t allowed, so comfortable shoes are definitely the move.

⏰ DO NOT BE LATE. They’re serious about this one—latecomers are not admitted, and your entire group needs to be together when you check in.

🔐 There’s no traditional ticket. You receive a secret password about 24 hours before the show, and that’s what gets you inside. Bring a valid photo ID too.

👜 Bags aren’t allowed inside the experience, but complimentary bag and coat check is available.

✨ Expect darkness, theatrical haze, strobe effects, loud sound and moments where performers are VERY close to you. There are also portions where you may be standing or moving for 30+ minutes.

♿ The experience takes place across multiple floors. Accessible routes and elevators are available, but accommodations should be arranged with the venue in advance.

🥂 And yes… there’s a little something to toast the experience. (non-alcoholic sparkling option if you don’t drink)
