When I talk with a “Shaper” like Elon Musk, what stands out is the ability to operate at both the big-picture level and the granular detail.

I remember him walking me through the details of his car—from the screen to the button—and in the same breath talking about putting a watering can with a plant on a rocket to send to Mars just to establish “first life on Mars” and inspire people.
