Isaiah Sategna III took a punt 88 yards to the house in the first quarter of Oklahoma's season opener against UTEP on Friday night in Norman. Sategna fielded the ball near the left sideline and worked his way across the field, and as he turned upfield, safety Omarion Robinson flattened a UTEP defender at the 50-yard line to spring him the rest of the way. The return gave the Sooners a 14-0 lead with 7:27 left in the first quarter.

It was Sategna's first punt return touchdown since transferring to Oklahoma before the 2025 season and matched the 88-yard return he had at Arkansas in 2023, tying the longest plays of his career. The Sooners' leading receiver a year ago, Sategna finished 2025 with 67 catches for 965 yards and eight touchdowns and added 318 yards on 24 punt returns.
