Texas turned Senior Day into a rout, blasting Incarnate Word 6-0 for the program's largest winning margin of the season, with each honored senior finding the back of the net in a celebration befitting the occasion.

The Longhorns struck in waves, scoring three times in each half to bury the Cardinals from the opening whistle. The win matched Texas's biggest margin of victory since a 7-0 win over Stephen F. Austin back in September 2023, and marked the first time the Longhorns had scored six goals in a match in more than two years.

Ahead of kickoff, Texas honored six seniors along with a student manager and a sports medicine aide in a pregame ceremony, recognizing Arianna Brothers, Caroline Dill, Bayliss Flynn, Amaya Haley, Callan Harrington and Hannah Tate, as well as fellow honorees Mariza Casarez and Ashley Watt, with each of the six senior players adding a goal to the rout.

The win also continued a stingy defensive stretch for first-year head coach Margueritte Bates, whose Longhorns had already posted three clean sheets and conceded just one goal through their first four matches, tying the 2008 team for the best defensive start in program history to that point. It marked the first-ever meeting between the two programs, extending Texas's dominant 19-1 all-time record against Southland Conference opponents.

The win improved Texas to 4-1-1 on the season, closing out the non-conference home slate at Mike A. Myers Stadium in style. Incarnate Word fell to 3-3-0. Texas closes non-conference play on the road against TCU next, before opening SEC play at defending conference champion Arkansas.
