#Lizzo is celebrating a major legal win after a federal judge dismissed the remaining claims in a lawsuit filed by a former wardrobe staffer against her touring company. tmz_tv reports a California federal judge ruled in favor of Lizzo’s Big Grrrl Big Touring company in the case brought by #AshaDaniels, who worked on the singer’s 2023 “The Special Tour.” Daniels accused the touring company of sexual and racial harassment. _________________________
As we previously reported, Daniels initially filed the lawsuit against Lizzo and her touring company in 2023. However, the claims against Lizzo personally were dismissed in December 2024. In a statement, Lizzo’s attorney, Melissa Glass, called the decision a “total victory” for the singer and the other defendants.

“The court’s ruling today granting summary judgment is a total victory for Lizzo, her touring company, and the other defendants named in Asha Daniels’ ludicrous lawsuit,” Glass told TMZ. “There was never any basis for Ms. Daniels to sue Lizzo, her touring company, her tour manager, or her wardrobe manager,” Glass also said.
