Dave Bautista is bulking back up to play Kratos.

Bautista posted a video from the gym on Instagram with an update on his prep for Amazon’s God of War series. “2 more months to get to where I need to be. Like ridin a bike!” He said he’s three weeks into weight training again.

Bautista was cast as Kratos last month after original lead Ryan Hurst tore a bicep performing a stunt in late June, four months into the shoot. The series is starting over from scratch, with production set to restart in Vancouver in mid-October on a two-season order.

Bautista’s most recent movie, The Wrecking Crew, with Jason Momoa, is streaming now on Prime Video.
