Well, it’s 11 years without you, 11 years that I wish wasn’t true. 11 years that I can’t laugh or hang out with you. 11 years that I can’t call you for advice or tell you about something new. I miss you every day and I’ve probably grieved in every type of way. This year was so busy I almost wasn’t phased but when this day came around, the grief hit me like a title wave. There’s so many things I want to tell you, ask you for advice, but really I just want the days where you were around in my life. They say the time heals all wounds, I know these ones will have to stay black and blue. They say the time is all you need but time will never bring you back to me. I miss you so much my big brother I wonder if you hear me when I scream so loud, my biggest question for you, are you proud of me? I love you and I’ll never forget you I’ll keep you alive in my house for as long as I’m around, my kids will know your name. Sometimes when I laugh or make a joke, I hear you in my voice and I’m grateful for that, I’ll see you on the other side. That is a fact.
