As a goalkeeper for @wearebayfc , I’m trained to put everything on the line to make the save.
 
To throw myself toward the ball.
To protect the goal.
To be there when my team needs me most.
 
But some of the most meaningful ways we can show up happen beyond the soccer field — right here at home.
 
Every month, 1 in 6 people in our community turns to @2ndharvest to access nutritious food.
 
But this is more than a statistic.
 
These are our neighbors. Our community. Our Bay Area.
 
Across our community, people are raising kids, going to school, working, caring for loved ones and building their futures — while navigating the rising cost of living.
 
The Bay Area has given me so much. It’s where I get to live out my dream, where I’ve found a community and where I’m incredibly proud to call home.
 
That’s why I’m launching Silky Saves for the Bay — to give back to the community that has given me so much and to become part of Second Harvest’s work to help end hunger in our community.
